For my politics and ethics project I researched relevant artists/editors who focused on political and ethical issues. I then decided to pick the topic of poverty which stood out to me as it has always been an underlying issue receiving much coverage in the media. From this, I then focussed on artists who had created art inspired by poverty.  Of these, I was most inspired by the work of Barbara Kruger and began to create pieces of my own, incorporating element of her work - mainly line experimentation - which can be see throughout the pieces below, including cover pages which were created in the style of Kruger, captivate the message of poverty.
